Aurora and Commerce City, our heaviest corridor
More pallets move between this corridor and our yard than anywhere else we serve. It is twelve to fifteen minutes away and it never stops.
Request pricing
Everything marked with a star is required. The rest helps us quote faster.
Aurora, Commerce City, Henderson and Brighton are RePallet Co.'s highest-volume service corridor, twelve to twenty minutes from the yard at 4890 Geneva St.
Collections are typically scheduled within one to three business days and free above roughly 400 units. Drop trailers are common here because generation is continuous.
Why this corridor is different
Commerce City and north Aurora contain a dense concentration of grocery distribution, cold storage, chemical blending and 3PL warehousing. Pallets accumulate there faster than anywhere else in Colorado, and the sites are large enough that ad-hoc collection is the wrong model.
- Drop trailers are the norm. We leave a trailer, you fill it at your own pace, we swap it. No scheduling conversation at all.
- Standing routes rather than requests. Several sites here are on fixed weekly slots.
- Paired almost always. Delivery out, cores back, on the same trip. It is why freight on this corridor is the lowest we quote.
- Mixed footprints. Chemical and drum handling means 48x48 and 44x44 squares alongside standard GMA.
- Contamination screening matters. Chemical blending sites need honest conversations about what we can and cannot take.

Chemical and drum handling
A significant part of this corridor blends, stores or ships chemicals, and that changes what we can accept. We are direct about it because the alternative is a wasted trip and an awkward conversation on the dock.
- We can take: pallets from sealed-container handling with no visible staining or residue.
- We can take: drum pallets with the usual scuffing and ring marks.
- We cannot take: anything with chemical staining we cannot identify.
- We cannot take: pallets from a confirmed spill or a decontamination event.
- Tell us in advance and we will grade in context. Discovering it at the sort line means the whole load gets treated conservatively.

Chemical, drum and cold-storage handling
Three specialisms concentrate here and each changes what we can take and what you should specify.
Chemical blending and storage
| Situation | Accepted? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sealed container handling, no residue | Yes | Normal grading applies |
| Drum pallets with ring marks and scuffing | Yes | Cosmetic; no downgrade |
| Visible staining, identified and inert | Case by case | Tell us what it is |
| Visible staining, unidentified | No | We cannot assess the risk |
| Post-spill or decontamination | No | Licensed route required |
| Oily sheen or petroleum contact | No | Excluded from every stream |
Drum and reel footprints
48" and 44" squares are common here and we buy them readily — demand is steady year round and they are worth more than most non-GMA footprints. The specification point that matters is point loading: four drums on a seven-board deck concentrate force between boards, and a plywood cap or a heavier deck prevents the splitting we otherwise repair.
Cold storage
The corridor has a lot of it, and the failure mode is moisture cycling rather than cold. A pallet moving in and out of a freezer four times a week lives two to three cycles instead of six to eight. Grade A only, ring-shank fasteners, thicker deck boards — the full explanation is on the journal.
Drop trailers: how they actually work
More sites on this corridor run drop trailers than anywhere else we serve, because generation is continuous and scheduling a collection every week is an annoyance nobody needs.
- 1
Space and agreement
A parking space with trailer access and a one-page agreement covering responsibility and insurance.
- 2

- 3
You fill it
At your own pace, by your own team, whenever suits. No scheduling conversation.
- 4
You tell us it is full
One email. Most sites settle into a predictable rhythm within a month and we start pre-scheduling.

- 6
Monthly reconciliation
One statement, netted against any supply.
